Spring has arrived in Tallinn and with it comes days full of light, color and fashion in the form of the 2017 edition of Tallinn Fashion Week. The event, which took place from the 15th to the 17th of March, was hosted by the Hilton Park Hotel and brought together personalities from the world of fashion, bloggers, journalists and lovers of design and So Catchy! Where Fashion Begins was there for it all.

The first day was dedicated to Wear-Arts, a show guided by the freedom of youth and art, with designs came from the canvases of well-known artists from Estonia’s Academy of Arts like Jüri Arrak, Leonhard Lapin and Murka among others, along with emerging designers Mari-Ly Closet, Kertu Kivisik, Kaia Kuusmann, Sandra Luks, Sirli Pohlak, Pamela Field, Kerttu Reinmaa, Eliise Saar and Aleksandra Tšusovljanova.

The following two days brought us different Spring-Summer collection that filled the catwalks with color. Here are a collection of photos of some of the highlights of the event including the daring work from designers Monton and Triinu Pungits.

Triinu Pungits

We’d like to extend our thanks to the organizers of Tallinn Fashion Week for inviting So Catchy! once again to the show. It was a pleasure seeing the work from the Baltic nation on stage and ready to make the leap to the international stage. Thanks again for giving us a closer look at Baltic fashion. We’ll be seeing you again soon!
